32nd architectural student workshop

Introduction

The Architectural Student Workshop is an annual prestigious architectural event that involved almost every university in Malaysia as well as guest universities from a different country. This workshop, hosted by the different university every year, consists of many different programmes, modules, and competitions within. The idea of this workshop is to nurture the student's leadership, teamwork skills and challenges their creativity to break the limit while acting as an annual gathering event where the students can celebrate together with each other as architectural students.

History

The initial Architectural Student Workshop was hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in the year 1987. The first workshop with a specific theme was introduced by University Sains Malaysia (USM) in 1989. Eventually, the architectural workshop became a prestigious annual event, passing on the responsibility of hosting and organising the event from one institution to another.
