About AIS 2020: Introduction
AIS stands for Architecture Interior Society and is a society for SABE students. We are is currently working hard for the next term of AIS. Primarily, AIS is a society for all SABE Architecture, Interior Architecture and Quantity Survey students in Master, Degree, and Diploma.
AIS 2020 consists of different members from different courses, cultures, and backgrounds. Here is where we gather and interact together, building friendship and expanding our network connection.
We organize events, promote competitions, join international workshops and engaging activities. These events are for students in SABE exclusively and joining external international events. Occasionally, we will have competitions and will form groups to participate in the competitions. Ultimately, we are striving to make a better society and make AIS more well-known.

History of AIS
AIS started back in 2011 helmed by its 1st president, Daniel.
Every year, interested parties are required to submit their presidency application form and attend a briefing by the election committee (ELCO). The candidates then appoints their board of directors. AIS Presidents are usually elected through the first-past-the-post electoral system. The winner is the candidate who gets the most number of votes out of the total ballots cast.
For example, if 100 votes were casted in and Candidate A received 40 votes, while Candidate B and Candidate C each received 30 votes, Candidate A is the winner despite not getting support from a majority of voters.
The election committees are responsible for the venue of the voting booth and vote counting oversee by AIS advisor(s). However this year might be different as AIS is trying to conduct the election process via internet, through The Course Networking (CN).
